  1. Be transparent: Seven out of twenty cell phone repair shops explicitly stated their commitment to transparency and honesty when accidentally damaging a customer’s device.
  2. Repair or replace: All 20 repair shops mentioned they would either repair or replace the customer’s device if they had broken or damaged it.
  3. Credit: Some repair shops may even offer credit or cash so you can replace your device.
